Covid-19 Service & Meeting Update

Covid19 precautions and meeting restrictions have now been lifted, and the number of people attending church at one time is no longer restricted

We do not require  everyone attending  services to wear a face mask whilst in church but if you want to that’s fine.

Communion is once again offered with bread and wine. Communicants can decide whether to take one or both elements. The wine is offered from a single chalice, so if you prefer not to take wine at this time this is not a problem and you can still receive the bread.

Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals are taking place again as normal by arrangement with the Rector.

Presently fellowship groups are meeting in St Patrick’s Parochial Hall during the week, but as the situation is constantly changing, please contact the Rector or see the latest Church Matters Parish Magazine or Church Facebook page for up to date information on meetings and services.

Contact the Rector Mark Taylor, on 028 9337 3300 or 077 1961 9286 or email mark205@btinternet.com for more information on services.

Weekly Activities

Regular weekly, fortnightly & monthly activities to join in.

Circus Skills

Weekly on Tuesday 10.30am

The circus skills Group meets in St Patrick’s Parochial Hall each Tuesday from 10.30am-12md with an average of 14 members per week.

The session begins with gentle warm-up exercises progressing to a group activity which involves passing or throwing items such as balls, hats or rings across and around a circle. There may be 8 or more items on the go at any one time. It helps if you concentrate, but dropping things causes more laughter and picking them up helps with exercise. After coffee and biscuits with time for a chat and catch-up we progress to improving our individual skills, using a variety of small objects such as hats, balls, sticks, diablo or rings. Some even try stilt walking. Overall, it is a morning of fun, laughter and a great sense of achievement if you succeed at a task.

If you would like to try this, just come to St Patrick’s Parochial Hall any Tuesday morning at 10.30am or contact the Rector.

Indoor Bowling

Weekly on Tuesday 7.00pm

The Indoor Bowling Club meets every Tuesday from 7pm- 10pm in St Patrick’s Parochial Hall. On average 20 members attend, however new members are always very welcome to come along and join in.

Friendly competitions take pace regularly and no previous bowling experience necessary.

A refreshment break is held midway through the evening, which allows everyone to catch up and get better acquainted.
