Sunday School Amendments during Covid-19

Until further notice some changes have been introduced to our Sunday School. The following arrangements are in place for children to come to church.

Services > Sunday School

Messy Church

Inviting all families with children to join us for Messy Church on the second Sunday of each month at 10.30am at St Patricks Parochial Hall, Edward Road, Whitehead.

We regret it is not possible to offer Sunday School at this current time at either of our churches, however we warmly invite you to bring your children to Messy Church.

Messy Church is open to all family groups with Pre-school/Primary age children.

Babies and Toddlers are most welcome with their family group too.  This informal and relaxed child-centred meeting encourages learning through the use of Bible stories, craftwork, songs, prayers, games, food and fellowship.

Children and adults all welcome.

Please note booking is required for attending Messy Church, as places are limited.

To request to join Messy Church text your name to 07719619286.

Story Telling Service

You are also invited to bring your children to the Story Telling Service held on the 4th Sunday of each month in St Patrick’s Church, Whitehead starting at 10.30am.  Duration 30 minutes.

Bring your children to hear well known Bible stories and much more.

Sunday School

Starts at 10.30am in St Patrick’s Church (Duration 1 hour)

Children are invited after the opening hymn in church to go and join Sunday School which is known as ‘Kidz Zone’ and is held in the Parochial Hall beside St Patrick’s Church.

‘Kidz Zone’ is our Parish Sunday School for children of primary education age. We meet during term time to learn about stories from the Bible and what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Activities include Bible reading, prayer, playing games, learning songs, making crafts and lots of fun activities.
